AALSMEER, The Netherlands: AALSMEER, The Netherlands: It is with much delight that rose grower Bloomingdale Roses from Kenya today announced it has added a new large-headed rose to their already impressive range of roses. The pink ‘I2I’ rose will make its debut at the Aalsmeer auction rose clock next Friday, December 16.
Bred by Dutch company Interplant, Rosa ‘I2I’ Rose ‘I2I’ is a deep pink rose with flower buds of 6.5cm. It will be available in stem lengths varying from 50 to 70cms. Rosa ‘I2I’ is available under the VBN code 118971. The vase life of ‘I2I’ is at least 12 to 14 days.
Founded in 2013, Bloomingdale Roses has a modern rose farm of 30 hectares in the Timau area, Kenya. Its quality roses are grown at the slopes of Mount Kenya, at 2,450 metres altitude above sea level and close to the Equator.
Next to I2I, Bloomingdale Roses also grows the following large-headed T-hybrids: 3D, Altavista®, Athena, Belle Rose, Blush, Chapeau, Double Fashion, Duett, Eliza, Good Times, Madam Pink, Madam Red, Marie Claire, Mariyo!
