Dümmen Orange recognizes florists as the trendsetters of the floriculture industry. It are exactly those people the company wishes to inspire by the endless possibilities of its wide assortment. Over the last decade, China has become an important growth market for Dümmen Orange. Therefore the company was delighted to receive a group of leading Chinese florists, wholesalers and internet entrepreneurs.

Next to a visit to cut chrysanthemum grower Richard van Schie, the florists were inspired by an European fashion & lifestyle workshop.

The group started the day with a visit to Dümmen Orange customer and chrysanthemum grower Richard van Schie, where they were introduced to the modern Dutch way of growing this beautiful product.

Dümmen Orange then welcomed the group at the Zuidkoop offices where one of our colleagues held a presentation about different market developments and trends over the last 20 to 30 years. Together with Xander Zijlmans from Zuidkoop we then introduced the Chinese floral professionals to four current European trends: Classic, Hipster, Scandinavian and Botanic and challenge them to translate these to the Chinese market.
