Expect their stories, published in early February, to detail the quality of the flowers in the arrangements they received, along with precise details on the cost and how their order was handled (courteousness of salespeople, accuracy of message card and timeliness of delivery, etc.).
The lesson? “Treat every order as if it will end up on the front page of your local newspaper,” said Jenny Scala, director of marketing and communications at the Society of American Florists. “If the arrangement looks great and your service is impeccable, you’re sure to make the grade.”
The Society of American Florists is the leading organization representing all segments of the floral industry. SAF is proud to provide marketing, business and government services to its members, including growers, wholesalers, retailers, suppliers, importers, educators, designers and allied organizations. The association was chartered by an act of Congress in 1884.
