tradeshow_iberflora_palmtreesVALENCIA, Spain: Judging by the number of entrants, Iberflora 2014 (October 1-3) is already proving popular. Interest for participation in Spain’s leading horticultural trade show is big, both at home and abroad. To date, the show organiser Feria Valencia has already reservations for the entire show floor, while bookings are flying in.

Miguel Bixquert, director of Iberflora explains, “the new strategy of the fair redirected at the visitors and the progressive recovery of the green sector are going to enable us to exceed our forecasts. In fact, many companies which had not participated in the last edition, or any addition, are going to participate in the next one!”

Thus, in the garden subsector, the fair has recovered highlighted companies like the group Bures; Compo Iberia; Macetas Candelaria; Garden Max; Igniagreen; Mirat Fertilizantes; Scheurich; Neudorf-Seipasa and Fliwer.

In technology and nurseries, showcase companies return such as: La Pacheca; Planthispania; Valimex; Viveros Espadán; Viverpal; Vivero Las Fresas y Veveros Taboada, as well as outstanding architectural landscape companies like Bonterra y Paisajes del Sur.

This year Iberflora are also incorporating new campaigns like A2 Industrial; Oryx; Hefe Fertiilizantes; Vital plant-Fertilizantes Nutri Plant; Fitoralia; Martin Sellier; Viveros Vicento and Verde Siete.

The best additions to the domestic market include Andalusia and Gallicia, explains Bixquert, “they have grown in metres and number of exhibitors.” In fact, Andalusia will be the second Spanish Autonomy with the most representatives at Iberflora, after Valencia. Some new projects of the event are helping for this, like the monograph dedicated to the dipladenias and the business incubator project.

At the international level, and from the supply point of view, there is also good news. Iberflora will count on the presence of new companies such as Durpeta and AB Rekyva from Lithuania, the Belgian Deforche Construct and Bomb Cosmetics from the United Kingdom.

Additionally, important companies from the green sector in Portugal have confirmed their participation. And this is the year that Viveiros Monterosa, who already participated at Iberflora 2013, will join other brands from the neighbouring country like Bayflor, Citrus plant and Viplant-Viveiros do Algarve and Miraflor.

The improvement of their offer, both in quality and quantity, will be complimented by a broad and interesting programme of parallel activities. Educational, informative and also leisure activities that will surprise all visitors who come to the event.

The 43rd edition of Iberflora will be celebrated under the umbrella of “United in Green” coinciding with other fairs which share important synergies: Vegetal World – Professional Forum for Agricultural Technology and Innovation; Eurobrico – International Salon of DIY; and Encaja – Fair for Warehouse, Distribution, and Points of Sale. A commitment which intends to gain more power, making it even more attractive for visiting professionals.
