WARSAW, Poland, June 12, 2012: The 20th edition of the international Green is Life trade exhibition will be held from August 24-26 at Warsaw’s Expo XXI convention centre.
Green is Life is one of the leading nursery stock trade fairs in Europe and will gather nurserymen, gardeners, suppliers of horti products and services, landscapers, buyers and distributors. This year’s theme is “Garden Treasures”.
The three day event is expected to host over 300 exhibitors from more than ten countries, including Poland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Holland, Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Latvia. This stunning international plant offer will be seen by visitors from all over Poland, but also from the neighbouring countries and further regions of Europe and the world. Last year’s edition was visited by nearly 17,000 people, including over 5,000 industry professionals from 27 countries. Most foreign customers originated from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic and Slovakia. First day of the event is traditionally addressed to the professionals only.
On Saturday and Sunday, Green is Life also will be open to the public: amateurs and aficionados – which form an important element of shaping the demand and the market, currently experiencing a phase of dynamic growth in Poland.
Programme of events accompanying the Exhibition is its strong point. Special guest of the conference for landscape architects (25 August) will be John Brookes – an icon of the British gardening and the art of garden creation. Buyers and owners of garden centres taking part in the “GARDEN CENTRE – success in practice” Conference (24 August) can take advantage of the experiences of Erwin Meier-Honegger, the Swiss expert and practitioner who has received many sector awards.
