BARENDRECHT, the Netherlands, June 2, 2012: It is a common-known fact that Tagetes seed is difficult to sow. To solve this problem, Flier Systems has now developed a special sowing drum. This sowing drum optimally sorts the Tagetes seeds and enables precision sowing at a high capacity. This enables good sowing results.
The new sowing drum can be used on the Flier Systems DS11 drum seeder. A wide range of sowing drums is available for this drum seeder, which even makes it possible to sow unpelleted seeds. Similar sowing drums are generally expensive, but Flier Systems offers sowing drums at affordable prices. The extremely short conversion time (less than 1 min.) makes switching between batches and seeds simple.
You can also select, change and save your settings with the help of a clear, colour touch screen. Further options include sowing multiple seeds per cell or pot. It has a maximum capacity of 1,500 trays/12,000 rows of soil blocks per hour, depending on the type of seed. This means high quality results, even at high sowing speeds.
Special features: Optimal sowing results – High capacity – Quick batch changes – Sows multiple seeds per cell – Affordable sowing drums – Touch screen panel
