DOWNER’S GROVE, USA, July 4, 2012: This year, All America Selections (AAS), a non-profit organisation, supported by the seed industry, which tests new varieties of flowers and vegetables and selects the best ones for introduction into the home garden market, is celebrating its 80 year anniversary. The organisation is pleased to announce a new logo and correlating website with a fresh modern design to take the organisation into their next 80 years.
Mike Murgiano of Syngenta Flowers, chair of the AAS task force responsible for the new image of All-America Selections (AAS) said, “Our new logo honors the past 80 years of AAS history by maintaining the familiar red, white and blue, but in updated tones. We also are embracing our future with the strong use of the AAS acronym that represents an easily identifiable connection to our organization and our winning plants and flowers.”
Diane Blazek, executive director added, “The words ‘All-America Selections’ encircling the acronym symbolises how the organisation embraces not only seed annual flowers and vegetables but how we plan to embrace vegetatively propagated annuals and perennials in the future.”
The AAS Winners offer gardeners reliable new varieties that have proven their superior
garden performance in trial grounds across North America, hence, their tagline of
“Tested Nationally and Proven Locally®”.
