Together with his sister Deborah and brothers Alessandro & Gian Guido, Giorgio was co-owner of Nirp International, a leading rose-breeding company.
Georgio was perhaps best known in Italy and Eastern European countries, travelling from company to company, from one greenhouse to another. With great communication skills and always a smile on his face, he knew how to gain the trust and esteem even from those who ‘played’ a little with the royalties.
In 1997, after the death of their father Luciano, Giorgio and his siblings took charge of the Bevera (Italy) and Cuers (France) companies managing to consolidate and grow “Nirp” roses around the world, even in the more recent difficult years.
The roses that Giorgio loved so much will continue to flourish for him and for all of us.
Our deepest sympathy go out to the Ghione family from the team at FloraCulture International and all the friends around the world.
