Decorum Awards honour the great and the good

awards_Decorum planten kweker 2016NAALDWIJK, the Netherlands: Decorum Plants, a joint venture of cut flower and potted plant growers, hosted its annual Decorum Awards Ceremony at a reception for the new year on Thursday January 12, 2017, honouring the great and good of the flower and potted plant plant industry. This year’s winners of the Decorum Awards are: Dijk van Dijk, OZ Planten en Borst Bloembollen.

No fewer than 12 growers and wholesalers from the ornamental horticulture industry battled it out to win Decorum’s prestigious accolade, which identifies successful and growing companies. The Decorum Awards recognise hard working, outstanding horticultural entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as product quality, supply chain management and just in time delivery.

Dutch plant export company OZ Planten and floral wholesale company J. van Vliet were awarded the prestigious Decorum Awards for Best Plant Buyer and Best Cut Flower Buyer respectively.

Hydrangea and perennial growers Dijk van Dijk from De Lier took Decorum’s Best Potted Plant Grower Award. Taking home the first prize in the cut flower category was Borst Bloembollen.

The coveted accolades were handed out during Decorum’s reception for the New Year on Thursday January 12, 2017.
