poeppelmann_teku_plant_pot_vtg11LOHNE, Germany: Pöppelmann TEKU® has expanded its 8° VTG round pot series for automated plant production with a new size.

The Pöppelmann TEKU® VCG and VCH series of cultivation pots are synonymous with maximum efficiency and healthy plants and have been highly regarded for years. The manufacturer has now expanded the VTG 8° version adding an 11 cm diameter. The pot wall of the VTG series has a greater angle of taper, which results in a smaller bottom diameter and a lower volume of the pots. This means increased savings on substrate for the producer.

The VTG series is now available in sizes 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 cm and offers the same advantages as the VCG/VCH range, which has proven itself for years in automated plant production. These include, first and foremost, the wider edge that ensures increased stability and optimal handling in fork systems. Forks and handling systems can now lift the pots directly under the rim with no problems. The pots are securely held on the forks.

The rim design of the pots has also been improved. Thanks to the new shape, the gap between each pot in the stack remains even to guarantee trouble free de-nesting from all pot magazines. This is also aided by the patented facet rim and the high lateral stability of the pot.
