MOSCOW, Russia: The 6th edition of the FlowersExpo show, held in mid-September in Moscow hosted 400 exhibitors from 27 countries with Holland, Colombia, Ecuador and Poland occupying the largest part of the show floor.
Chile and Iran were welcomed as first time exhibitors. Show organisers Nadeshda Grigorieva and Elena Zarubina (pictured together with the agricultural counsellor to the Netherlands in Moscow, Mr. Meewes Brouwer) did an excellent job, utilizing their many years of experience, extensive international network of business contacts and a personal approach with Ms. Grigorieva personally presenting the coveted FlowersExpo awards to exhibitors.
Elena Zarubina told FCI that she and Ms Grigorieva can look back at a very successful show with total visitor numbers exceeding 17,000. She added that plans are underway to organise a second trade show in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
