HTA-Logo-Colour-mediumTHEALE, UK: Following on from the success of two events last year, HTA are delighted to announce that they are once again the media partner for GroSouth, the premier exhibition in the South of England for the horticultural industry, which takes place at Roundstone Nurseries on Wednesday 9 November.

HTA members are also invited to a growers dinner held on the night before the show on Tuesday 8 November.

HTA are delighted to be hosting a dinner at the Chichester Park Hotel in conjunction with ADHB, Fargro, GroSouth, GrowTrain, IPPS, Perennial, Southern Growers Club and West Sussex Growers Association.

Enjoy a relaxed dinner and network with key stakeholders in the industry and talk about key business issues and challenges affecting our industry today. HTA are delighted to welcome Graham Spencer of Plants for Europe as after dinner speaker who will present a talk entitled “Getting Excited – How we can use innovation in plants to help keep enthusiasm going, and not just with our customers”.

For HTA members, there is no charge for the dinner and places are booked on a first come, first served basis. To book your place at the dinner, please e-mail events@hta.org.uk

There will also be an afternoon conference before the dinner on “Integrated pest management for pest and disease control in ornamental crops”, run by ADHB and Fargro at Brinsbury College Campus from 2.30pm-5pm.  Speakers include Fargro, BASF and ADAS and the full programme can be downloaded at: http://horticulture.ahdb.org.uk/sites/default/files/IPM.pdf

To book a place at the conference, please visit email Naiya.Khatri@ahdb.org.uk for a booking form.

HTA will also have a stand at the GroSouth that will focus on the technical and policy work, which we do on behalf of members.  HTA staff will also be on hand to talk about upcoming events, the cost saving benefits and schemes available to members and any general membership enquiries.
