photo-sina-motamed-rad-1122TEHRAN, Iran: The first edition of the new international horticulture trade fair IGTF was held with great success earlier this month in the international Permanent Fairground of Tehran.

During all exhibition days the halls were literally packed with trade visitors, and for this reason exhibitors were extremely happy with the results of this 4 day event. Already after the second day, practically every exhibitor expressed the wish to re book for next year’s edition and many as well asking for larger stand spaces.

Although the first edition was not big in size (about 71 especially international companies participated in 2 smaller sized halls, totaling about 1500 m2), the exhibition had a very professional appearance and positive business atmosphere with busy footpaths and stands. The presence of many growers and other important players of the Iranian horticulture industry, greatly contributed to the success of the first edition of IGTF.

In order to meet the demand for exhibit space in IGTF, it was decided to set the next edition in April of 2017. The management of the Tehran International Permanent Fairground assigned a larger exhibition Hall to HPP and therefore HPP was able to set the dates for next year, i.e. Thursday April 13 to Saturday April 15.
