auction_trade_Royal-FloraHolland-Ondertekening-Waterdrinker_455x256AALSMEER, The Netherlands: Waterdrinker Aalsmeer is developing a new trade centre on the auction grounds in Aalsmeer. Bob Moria (CEO Waterdrinker) and Lucas Vos (CEO Royal FloraHolland) signed an agreement to this effect on 18 July 2016.

The Green Trade Center is being developed next to the Waterdrinker building. The proposed opening date is the end of 2017 during the Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer Trade Fair.

“The Green Trade Center will be the flagship of Waterdrinker Aalsmeer, with which we and our suppliers can respond to the needs of our national and international buyers,” said Bob Moria. “We inspire people with a wide and deep assortment of plants, flowers and hardware. We also stand for an optimal and small-scale logistics to make life easier for our buyers.”

The opening of the Green Trade Center suits the Royal FloraHolland 2020 strategy. Lucas Vos added, “The Green Trade Center will soon have something lovely to offer. It shows what is possible within the horticultural sector, and that will ultimately result in more flowers and plants being sold.”
