WARSAW, Poland: Flower Expo Poland, the new trade show for flowers and plants set to take place at Warsaw’s Expo XXI convention centre from September 1-3, will host over 60 international exhibitors from 10 countries and as well as a top-notch educational programme.
Using a colourful array of fresh cut flowers, Flower Expo Poland’s floral design show will show florists how to create their own signature designs. Flower and plant traders are invited to attend the many seminars that will take place during the event.
On Thursday 1 September 2016, floral designer Tomàsz Max Kuczyński from Poland will be on stage. He is going to share his knowledge and craftsmanship with the public from 12:00 until 13:30 and from 14:30 until 16:00 in hall 4 of Flower Expo Poland. Recently, Tomász participated at the Florint Europa Cup in Genoa (Italy) and reached the fourth place. On Friday the 2 September, Jagoda Glowinska and Kinga Czekajewska will appear on stage from 10:00 until 11:30. The afternoon program will be completed by a demonstration of Iza Tkaczyk. This demonstration takes place from 14:30 until 16:00. The theme of both demonstrations is “Bouquets inspirations” and will be organized by our supporting partner, the Polish Florists Association (SFP). The last day, Saturday 3 September, Laura Belabrovik from Belarus inspires the public from 10:00 until 11:30 and from 14:30 until 16:00. Between those demonstrations, Aafje Nijman of Bloomtube presents the Floral Trends of autumn and winter 2016. Floral designer Johan Martens visualizes her theory with floral arrangements en pot/plant combinations. This part of the program can be attended from 12:00 until 14:00. Besides this, the stage will be given to students from floral schools. They will demonstrate on Friday and Saturday during the last two hours of the exhibition.
During the trade show, several seminars will be organized by Green is Life. Theo Tiegelaar from AgroFreshPark Poland informs visitors about logistics and distribution during the first expo day from 15:30 until 16:00. AgroFreshPark Poland is developing the first sustainable distribution centre within the horticultural sector in Łódź. On Friday 2 September at 13:15 until 14:00, Robert Roodenburg of the Dutch Association of Wholesalers of Floristry articles explains the project IntoGreen during his seminar and emphasizes the role of plants inside buildings and their influence on the interior climate from.
Marc Eijsackers, managing director of the Flower Council of Holland, shares his knowledge from 13:30 until 14:30 of a research done in eight countries into consumer segmentation. The focus will be on Polish and their shopping behaviour. From 15:15 until 16:00 he will be present again in another seminar about social media and the use of it within the horticultural sector. Last but not least, Kees van Rijn (Bart Kwiaty) provides the visitors with information and tips regarding trade in Poland and shares his experiences. On Saturday, there will not be a seminar program; the visitors can attend the demonstration program.
Flower Expo Poland focuses on cut flowers and indoor plants, while GREEN IS LIFE focuses on outside greenery, such as trees, shrubs and landscaping. GREEN IS LIFE will organise the 24th edition this year and counted last year, 16.000 visitors from 40 countries and 263 exhibitors. The organisers of the exhibitions benefit from each other’s knowledge and network. They will combine the visitor promotion, promotional activities and seminars during the exhibition. Flower Expo Poland will organize floral demonstrations especially for florists. The expo has now more than 60 registered participants and it is still counting.
