Highlights of the show was the Retail Concept Experience by Romeo Sommers, trend watcher and green stylist of By Romeo. Romeo is demonstrating how you can combine storytelling with plants to help increase sales and give people another reason to buy. Supporting this are creative displays designed by growers around the show.

Visitors to the HTA National Plant Show have voted Clematis Nubia Evipo59 from Darby Nursery Stock as best in show at the New Plant Awards. The Visitor Vote Award, sponsored by Floramedia, proved extremely popular and with over 100 entries in this year’s awards visitors were spoilt for choice.

Clematis Nubia Evipo59, bred by Guernsey Clematis, is a stunning compact free flowering Clematis with striking deep red flowers with red anthers.
