orn_rosa_avaloniaAALSMEER, Netherlands: Dutch rose breeder Preesman yesterday announced the rebranding of its newly introduced rose Avalonia to avoid confusion and association with the world famous white Avalanche rose. Effective immediately, Avalonia will be changing its name to Adalonia.

The first Adalonia roses, which made their official debut at the FloraHolland Trade Fair on Friday November 9th, received an overwhelmingly positive response from customers and merchants. Auctioned off by FloraHolland Aalsmeer in the Netherlands, the first batches of Adalonia achieved a peak price of €1.55. Adalonia is a large-headed rose, featuring a creamy white colour and a high petal count.
