FloraHolland is happy to put growers in the best sales position, including through use of our digital trade platforms. This method is now familiar to all our suppliers. It was Zantedeschia’s ‘Chrystal Blush’ from the De Haas Calla’s nursery in De Lier that was traded in this millionth transaction.
The grower was given a tablet by FloraHolland, which he can use to make marketing his products easier, even on the road, via the online trade platforms of FloraHolland.
Six years ago, the first digital transaction of cut flowers was made via the online trade platform FloraHolland e-Trade. Now there is another platform for the trade in plants as well. And outside the FloraHolland systems there are many more trade platforms in the market.
This year the functionalities of FloraHolland e-Trade are being transferred to the new online trade platform FloraMondo. FloraMondo combines the best functionalities of the different trade platforms in one new platform, improving its ease of use. In FloraMondo growers have control over their entire supply. And customers have to scroll through fewer trade platforms to do their online purchases.
