LONDON, the UK: Leading annual pan-Americas’ container trade, shipping and ports event comes to Colombia for the first time this October. TOC Events Worldwide has announced that the 14th edition of its TOC Americas conference and exhibition will take place on October 14-16 in Cartagena, Colombia. This will be the first time in Colombia for the pan-Americas’ container trade, shipping and ports event, having previously been held in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama and the USA.
TOC Americas 2014 is being developed in close co-operation with host sponsor Sociedad Regional de Puerto de Cartagena (SPRC), Colombia’s largest container port operator, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
For more than 30 years, TOC Worldwide has provided the market-leading conference and exhibition forums for the global port and terminal industries and their customers. Following a change of name to TOC Container Supply Chain in 2011, the TOC event portfolio has evolved fast to attract a wider audience of container supply chain professionals.
Taking place each year in the world’s four key shipping hubs – Europe, Middle East, Americas and Asia – each TOC is now a complete container supply chain event for its region, bringing together cargo owners, logistics providers, carriers, ports, terminals and other key members of the container supply chain to learn, debate, network and foster new business solutions.
