LOS ANGELES, CA: Teleflora, the world’s leading flower delivery service, today announced the promotion of David Dancer to Executive Vice President, Head of Marketing at Teleflora, effective immediately. In this role, Dancer is responsible for overseeing the brand vision and strategy for the 78 year-old Teleflora brand.
Among his many responsibilities includes spearheading the overall development of Teleflora’s product marketing, loyalty marketing, database management, customer-relationship marketing, promotional partnerships and campaigns. Prior to this, Dancer served as Teleflora’s vice president of partnership marketing, a role he had held since 2012. In that role, he successfully led strategic partnerships and campaigns with renowned brands such as Bluestem Brands, American Airlines, American Express, Best Western, Dell, and Mary Kay.

A veteran in the industry for more than 20 years, Dancer brings extensive global consumer and small business marketing expertise. Prior to joining Teleflora, he was a Senior Retail Marketing Consultant at Charles Schwab, one of the nation’s leading financial services firm’s where he successfully led their retail brand’s experiential efforts. Previously, he served as the Vice President and Head of Visa Marketing Consulting at Visa for over six years where he worked with the organization’s top financial institution and merchant clients. Before Visa, he served in a variety of management positions at American Express, MCI Telecommunications, and Wolff System Technology.
Dancer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and is an active alumni member. While there, he was a member of the Division I Men’s Volleyball team. Dancer is also on the board of GLSEN ( www.glsen.org ) and serves as the chair of their National Leadership Council working to create safe schools free of bullying and harassment for all students.
