Keukenhof announces new CEO

LISSE, the Netherlands, September 4, 2012: Keukenhof, is pleased to announce that 44-year old Bart Siemerink has been named the new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1st.
Previously working at trade association Anthos and as facilities manager at FloraHolland, Siemerink succeeds Piet de Vries who resigned earlier this year. Siemerink brings with him a wealth of experience in building and ground maintenance, utilities, communication infrastructure and space management and knows the ornamental horticulture industry inside out.
Furthermore, the world famous spring garden has announced that its vice president, Mr Jan Pennings, will leave Keukenhof as of December 31st. Pennings will be succeeded by former bulb grower and Hortus Bulborum chairman, Mr Piet Apeldoorn.
