VALENCIA, Spain, September 14, 2012: When Feria Valencia is about to open its doors to the public from 3rd to 5th October, Iberflora is placing the finishing touches to one of the initiatives which will probably surprise professional visitors this year the most, and which is framed within the official 2012 fair’s parallel activities programme.
For the first time ever, Iberflora will recreate a greenhouse within its exhibit, which will reveal all the elements that intervene in the nursery production process: from sowing seeds, use of substrates to the pot-transplanting process; basically everything required to prepare plants and flowers for the final sales stage.
This is a pioneering initiative within the European circuit of events specialized in the green sector, which aims to incorporate innovation (R&D+i) in all value chain processes.
Furthermore, marketing professionals will explain to the professionals visiting Iberflora how to employ the various affordable tools being promoted to diffuse this value which, essentially, is the added value of ornamental plants.
Iberflora’s new commitment is supported by various representative firms from the complete nursery value chain; e.g., Syngenta, Ininsa Pindstrup Mosebrug, Floramedia and Fermosan. These firms will facilitate all the elements required to make this value chain a reality: greenhouses, substrates, seeds, irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides, garden beds, pots and tubs.
