Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Dark Angel’ wins Visitor Vote Award at HTA National Plant Show

STONELEIGH PARK , UK, June 29, 2012: Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Dark Angel’ from Darby Nursery Stock has been voted the Best New Plant by visitors to the HTA National Plant Show.
The Visitor Vote Award, sponsored by Floramedia, proved extremely popular and with over 100 entries in this year’s awards visitors were spoilt for choice.
Nick Mathias from Floramedia, sponsors of the Visitor Vote Awards, comments, “This has been a great season for growing plants and this is evident in the wonderful displays here at the HTA National Plant Show. It has been delightful to see such a wide range of such high quality entries within the New Plant Awards as I am sure that the visitors would agree. Thank you to all the visitors for participating.”

The winner of yesterday’s judged New Plant Awards, sponsored by ProVar, was Hebe ‘Rhubarb and Custard’ from Tully Nurseries.
