Organised by Japan Floral Marketing Association (JFMA) and Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd., this year’s IFEX will be held concurrently with two other shows: the 3rd International Garden Expo Tokyo (GARDEX), and the 1st International Exterior Expo Tokyo (EXTEPO).
With 10 country pavilions exhibiting their best products, a record 870 exhibitors will welcome 34,000 visitors over the 3 day show period.  The venue is expected to be fully packed and a truly exciting show for all participants attending from around the world.
International participation
Reflecting the rapid increase of flower import from overseas, IFEX 2009 will welcome a record number of 10 country pavilions, making this a truly international and high-grade show. Highlights include pavilions by Colombia who will exhibit their various carnations and roses, Australia with their wide selection of colorful wild flowers, and Taiwan with their vivid orchids.  As well, a wide range of fragrant fresh flowers will be exhibited at the country pavilions hosted by China, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Korea, and Malaysia.  Numbers of new flower industry giants from around the world will also be participating, such as Dekker Breeding B.V., Rijnplant Breeding, and Anthura B.V. from Netherlands, Morel Diffusion SAS from France, David Austin Roses Ltd. from U.K., and Jelitto Staudensamen from Germany.
