Centurion Air Cargo named in suit

The plane was headed for Miami and was reportedly loaded with flowers. Colombian authorities said that the plane broke into pieces and was destroyed by fire and that three people were killed when the plane struck a house. None of the eight crew members were killed
The suit, filed on behalf of pilot Bryant Beebe, names alos Boeing for failing to provide adequate operating instructions and warnings for operation of the aircraft and Pratt and Whitney, a division of United Technology Corp., for not providing adequate guidance for maintenance and inspection of the engines that failed on the aircraft.
The case was filed in the Circuit Court of the 16th Judicial Circuit in Monroe County, Fla., and seeks to recover damages Beebe incurred as a result of the crash, including pain and suffering, disability and disfigurement, medical expenses, loss of earnings and other personal and pecuniary losses, reported the Charleston Business Journal on July 20..
